Social Sharing Call to Action (CTA)

You can add text, encouraging users to share your content, next to the social sharing icons in the footer of single articles. This text applies to all articles on your site.

1. Go to your WordPress Admin > Lede > Settings > Social Sharing Settings
2. Enter in your text and format it as desired
3. Click Save Changes

This text displays to the left of the social sharing icons in the footer of single article pages. This area can have a background color to further call attention to your message. This background color is the same as the color selected for highlighted posts on archive pages. To review/set this color:

1. Go to your WordPress Admin > Lede > Brand Appearance > Archive Styles
2. Review/select a color from the “Archive Highlighted Post Background Color” dropdown
   • If you have “default” selected, a very light gray background color will display in the social sharing area.
   • Ensure the color you select has sufficient contrast against black text.
3. If you have “default” selected, a very light gray background color will display in the social sharing area.
4. Ensure the color you select has sufficient contrast against black text.
5. Click Save Changes
