SPOTLIGHT: Dynamic Landing Pages
Additional blocks are now available on Pages to allow you to create more dynamic landing pages for your content. Be sure to take note of what blocks are not currently recommended for use.
Customizable Registration Wall & Paywall CTAs
You can now edit the Call to Action (CTA) text and link that displays on both the registration wall and the paywall.
To adjust, go to WP Admin > Lede > Settings.
The “CTA Link Text” fields can be changed from the default of “See all subscription options” for the registration wall and “Sign Me Up” for the paywall.
We strongly recommend leaving the “CTA Link Destination” fields blank.

Note: In the near future, it will be possible to customize the rest of the text on both the registration wall and the paywall. Stay tuned!
Google Ad Manager: New Supported Ad Unit
A header banner ad unit served via Google Ad Manager (GAM) is now compatible with the Lede platform. This ad unit displays below your global header if you are not using the default header decoration (set in WP Admin > Lede > Brand Appearance).

Payment Page UX
If a promotion is active, discounted pricing is now displayed more clearly to the user on the payment page.
Roles/Permissions
The WordPress Admin has been cleaned up for users with the “Administrator” Role. These users may notice that some non-applicable menu items have been removed, and other relevant menu items have been made visible. If you are unable to do something you are expecting to be able to do as an Administrator in WordPress, please submit a Freshdesk ticket and let us know.
Safe Redirect Manager
The Safe Redirect Manager is now compatible with Lede.
Stripe Taxes
The Lede platform is now compatible with Stripe’s automatic tax calculation for your tax obligations.

Bug Fixes
Known Issues – Lede v2 is currently under regular development. This is a list of known issues and limitations of the platform as of 7/10/23. If you encounter an issue not on the list, including any issues with individual subscribers, please contact us via Freshdesk.
The “Edit Post” button is properly displayed in the Admin bar on Posts when logged into the WordPress Admin.
