Dark Mode
- Dark mode is now available by default on your Lede site! Dark mode is a completely optional view mode that automatically turns on when a user’s operating system is set to dark mode. Alternatively, users can turn this mode on/off via the Light Switch which is currently located in three different spots for maximum discoverability: the site header, in the main popout menu, and on the My Account page for registered/subscribed users.

Social Media Networks
- Bluesky & Threads are now available as social media networks that can display in your site’s footer and main menu.
- To add these to your site: navigate to your WordPress Admin > Appearance > Customize > Social Profiles and Sharing > Add Social Link.
- To add these to your site: navigate to your WordPress Admin > Appearance > Customize > Social Profiles and Sharing > Add Social Link.
- Note: If you are active on additional social networks which are not currently supported, we recommend that you create a “Follow Us” menu with links to your presence on these.
UX Improvements
- Product pages with a single product no longer take up the width of the page.
Bug Fixes
- Known Issues– Lede v2 is currently under regular development. This is a list of known issues and limitations of the platform, as of 11/15/23. If you encounter an issue not on the list, including any issues with individual subscribers, please contact us via Freshdesk.
- Footer menus now display in the order they are configured, not in alphabetical order.
- Footer menu headers with apostrophes in the title now properly display.
- If no Twitter (X) handle is present for an author, the Twitter icon & @ symbol no longer display in the short bio at the end of posts.
