Security Updates and WordPress 8.6
Over the last month we made several system updates in order to enhance the security and stability of the Lede platform. These updates ensure that you have access to the latest security features and improvements and enhance the stability and performance of the platform.

We’re continuing to boost platform security with additional upgrades planned, including enhanced monitoring tools and improved incident communication systems. These developments will further strengthen our ability to maintain Lede’s stability and keep you informed.
Featured Updates
Featured Topic block improvements
The Featured Topic block remains one of Lede’s most valuable homepage features, delivering significant benefits for both publishers and your audiences. This strategic tool enables you to effectively communicate your editorial priorities while giving your readers an intuitive way to discover stories that matter to them.
We are pleased to announce two important enhancements designed to expand the functionality and impact of this feature:
Two-Column Layout Option: This new layout configuration presents a prominent hero image alongside organized article cards, creating a visually compelling display that optimizes reader engagement and content visibility.
Configurable Subtitle Display: Publishers now have the option to display article deks (subtitles) in this block. While subtitles remain hidden by default to maintain clean aesthetics, this functionality can be activated through the Content Options panel toggle, providing additional editorial flexibility.

Integration Updates
We’ve added an integration for the Reddit Pixel. Navigate to the Integrations menu and add your Reddit Pixel ID, which can be found in Reddit Ad account settings.
The BuySellAds integration has been enhanced to support BSA’s programmatic ad product, Optimize.
