SPOTLIGHT: Gift Subscriptions
- Gift subscriptions, which allow a person to buy a subscription for someone else, are now available!
- Note: Gifting is automatically available for all products you offer – no intervention is required to set this up.
Products: Side by Side View
- Your /products page now looks a bit different on wider screens, such as desktops and tablets. Your products are now displayed in a side by side format, instead of in a list view, allowing your users to more easily compare your offerings.

WordPress Version 6.3
- The Lede platform was updated to WordPress Version 6.3 on 10/2/23. Couple changes to be aware of:
- For complex blocks, such as columns and navigation, style settings you are used to seeing in the block sidebar are now in the Appearances/Styles tab, including colors and typography. The block sidebar looks the same as before for simple blocks, such as paragraphs and lists.
- A new Footnote formatting option is now available in Paragraph, List, and Quote blocks for your Post content.
- The Navigation block has become even more powerful. You can customize the links in that block – adding category, tag, or even custom links – without changing how that menu looks outside of your Homepage.
- Reusable blocks are now called Synced Patterns.

Bug Fixes
- Known Issues– Lede v2 is currently under regular development. This is a list of known issues and limitations of the platform, as of 10/16/23. If you encounter an issue not on the list, including any issues with individual subscribers, please contact us via Freshdesk.
- You are no longer prevented from editing the page that is set as your Privacy Policy.
- The coupon flag in SendGrid is no longer being wiped out if a subscription is set to cancel on expiration.
- Subscribed users receiving a premium newsletter are no longer unsubscribed from the newsletter after giving a donation.
- Block spacing settings were added back to the following Lede custom Homepage blocks: Post Grid, Post River, Comment of the Day, and Featured Posts.
