SPOTLIGHT: Post Picker
- The experience of curating a specific post has been greatly improved with the addition of the Post Picker. When curating a post, you will now see the 10 most recent posts to choose from (and you can load more), along with the ability to search for a specific post by name.
- The Post Picker is available in all spots where a post can be curated:
- Homepage: Featured Post, Featured Posts, Post Grid, Comment of the Day
- Posts: Custom Embed, Related Post
- Homepage: Featured Post, Featured Posts, Post Grid, Comment of the Day
- Posts: Custom Embed, Related Post
Analytics
- The alpha version of Lede’s pilot analytics product was sent out via email the week of August 21st – you can now expect a weekly analytics email to help provide insights into your users’ behavior on your site.
- Our August Publisher Event on 8/25 focused on this analytics product – please check out the recording if you were unable to attend.
Google AdWords Conversion Tracking
- If you are using Google AdWords, you can now add an associated conversion tag to your Lede platform site.

Bug Fixes
- Known Issues – Lede v2 is currently under regular development. This is a list of known issues and limitations of the platform, as of 8/21/23. If you encounter an issue not on the list, including any issues with individual subscribers, please contact us via Freshdesk.
- Users are now properly redirected to the path they were on before logging in/verifying their email. (i.e. If a user was viewing a particular article before logging in/verifying, they are now redirected back to that article. If a user was in the middle of the purchase flow, they are now directed back to purchasing their subscription.)
- The search results when searching for an author in the “Byline” section of a post have been improved.
- The tip jar no longer prevents a user from donating an amount other than the default amount of $15.
